Congratulations Charlotte & David!
Mr & Mrs Holland, welcome to the married life!
This weekend we found ourselves in Fletching for another “Marquee at home” wedding.
The marquee was situated at Charlottes Dads home amongst strolling green fields of the sussex downs.
The marquee greeted you with a long red carpet, one leading to the entrance the other the amazing flower arch!
The Flower arch become a very popular look out point and obviously a photo hotspot.. it was beautiful!
Inside the Marquee the tables were lined with the most fantastic silver sequin table clothes.
Chairs work big purple bows with white roses in the middle of the knot.
Favours were strawberry vodka in the sweetest bottles, and bags of sweets for the children.
(don’t know which one I wanted more?!)
The entertainment was brilliant.
We were lucky enough that Simon P Productions was with us again, we love working with them.
They provided the video Dj service during the day, and then the added video screen of all their photos later.
A walk around magician showed off some outstanding magic, leaving us all completely baffled!
Magician – Pete James
But, by far the best thing was.. The Chimney sweep.
As a surprise a actual Chimney sweep and his cat (yes a real one) was booked to wish the newlyweds good luck.
Most of us were unaware of this tradition of luck, but its certainly our new favourite one.
He was fantastic, so warm, kind hearted and hilarious! The guests loved every second of his presence.
His cat stole everyones hearts, I don’t think anyone could believe it was real!
Chimney Sweep – Milborrow Chimney Sweeps – Mr. K. Giddings
Now time for the food..
This wedding had some of my favourites. (they’re all my favourites though!)
The starters looked beyond amazing, so vibrant and bright !
Duck with a noodle salad, dressed with sweet chilli, hoisin and sprinkles of pomegranate.
Vegetarian had runny quails eggs, asparagus, salad, parmesan and again pomegranate.. it looked beautiful.
Main consisted of tender beef and potatoes with vegetables to serve.
Finally pudding, TRIO!
After the speeches, there was a video from friends who couldn’t be there for Charlottes and Davids day.
I think it brought a tear to everyones eye.
Well, not much time for crying as it was cake cutting time.
The cake was made by a friend of the couple (lucky them!) it was amazing!
Time for the first dance, Ed Sherans – Thinking out loud.
The dance floor wasn’t just the Bride and Groom for long, they were immediately joined by all their friends for a right old boogie.
Simon P stole the night away till the very end with his Dj-ing, I think the guests loved it!
Congratulations Charlotte and David!
