Rosanna & James got married last weekend in Surrey and enjoyed their wedding reception at their family home. It was a fabulous venue for a marquee wedding. Rosanna & James decorated the interior of the marquee with pale colours and ivy round the linings. Guests arrived in the garden while enjoying arrival drinks served by us, the happy couple booked double canapés for the reception to replace the starter. This was a great idea and worked well for Rosanna & James as their wedding reception was a little later than normal.
We loved their table plan, all tables were named after a certain sweet & to find your seat you had to look at the favours placed on each table setting, instead of a usual table place card in the middle of the table. Guests had a lot of fun trying to find their seat!
Once everyone was seated, we served our Confit of Duck main with Dauphinoise potatoes & a vegetable medley. A delicious choice that everyone enjoyed. We also served our famous Vegetable Moroccan Tagine for vegetarians and other special diets. For dessert our clients chose our Lemon Posset with Heart Shortbreads & Berry Compote.
Rosanna & James chose to have, not one, but 4 different wedding cakes; a pork pie cake, rice crispy cake, cheese tower & a traditional wedding cake. This catered for all guests needs and they all looked fabulous, all of which were home made. Once the dining was over, speeches began and the evening party followed.
