Brett & Catherine got married in a church 15 minutes away from their chosen venue, as they arrived we caught a glimpse of Catherine’s beaming smile before they parked up next to the farmhouse. We greeted the happy couple with sparkling wine and showed them through to the gardens. Brewerstreet Farmhouse is one of our exclusive marquee wedding venues with plenty of room for all of your guests. Brett & Catherine had 140 guests seated in our marquee.
To keep the children entertained the new Mr & Mrs Lohn provided garden games & a bouncy castle during their reception drinks and canapés. Guests socialised with each other while listening to steel drums in the background. The marquee was decorated beautifully with pastel coloured flowers and a delicious looking cake table, however, the decoration that was centre of attention, was the painting that Brett had painted for his wife. The painting was also printed on the guests wedding favours and was used as the table plan background, in Brett’s words; the painting describes the journey he has had with his new wife, she has always stuck by his side.
Before the wedding party entered the marquee for their 3 course meal Mr & Mrs Lohn enjoyed a dance with their guests as the steel drums played and the children jumped on the bouncy castle. The couple chose to have their speeches before guests ate and Brett began with his. Catherine’s sister then spoke about stories she had shared over the years and finally the speeches closed with the best man & woman congratulating the happy couple with their new marriage. At last everybody could relax and enjoy the 3 course meal that was served; Mediterranean Antipasti, Lemonthyme & Rosemary Chicken & Hazelnut Crème Brulee Pyramid.
Brett & Catherine cut their cake (one from many cakes) and then took to the dance floor for their first dance. Possibly the best first dance we have seen yet! Perfectly choreographed the couple enjoyed their first dance as a married couple and then everyone else joined them for the evening party.
