While Super Event now offers complete party planning services, including marquee hires, we originally started out as a catering company. During that time we’ve developed the skills, knowledge, and talent to create gourmet dishes that clients continue to talk about.
All of the food prepared by our chefs are available for any budget since the Sussex-based caterers charge their clients an all-inclusive cost per person that is strictly based on the level of service and number of courses asked for. All dishes on our menus are available without any hidden charges or upgrade fees. This price even includes the cutlery, glassware, linens, kitchen equipment and staff.
With our catering you can eat like royalty even if you’re celebrating in your own home. All you have to do is contact us, tell us how many courses you’d like for your event and what kind of service you need. More informal events will cost less while full-service gourmet events will cost more. No matter what you’re looking for, you can mix and match selections from our appetizers, main meals, and desserts in order to create a custom menu for your guests. The only thing left to do is to sample our food and decide if our five-star quality dishes are to your liking.
Starters, Mains, and Desserts
A special occasion calls for delicious food from beginning to end. We offer canapés, starters, main dishes, and desserts so your guests are satisfied from the moment they walk in until they leave. We understand that everyone’s tastes are different which is why our chefs take the time to prepare a wide range of dishes that are sure to please.
Our menu is simple yet impressive. Delicious food doesn’t have to be overly complicated and contain a myriad of expensive ingredients; we believe less is more. When you work with quality ingredients there is no need to dress them up with a lot of sauces or spice rubs, the flavours of the food can speak for themselves when prepared properly.
While all of our dishes are worth talking about, our head chef, Rob Gerrish, has a few favourites that he always recommends when asked.
For the appetizers our chef suggests trying the smoked salmon, king prawn, and gravadlax medley. This starter is comprised of a delicious smoked salmon, mustard and dill cured gravadlax, and mouth-watering king prawns that are placed on a bed of crisp baby leaves dressed with a light olive oil and balsamic vinegar dressing.
In the main dishes, Chef Rob recommends the summer herb fragrant chargrilled chicken. This features a succulent chicken breast that has been infused with garlic, pimento, coriander, lime, zest and olive oil. It is then seared on the chargrill and served with herb roasted potatoes.
Finally, our head chef suggests rounding out your event with the sinful Triple Delight dessert. The Triple Delight includes a miniature fruit Pavlova, a dark chocolate parfait paired with an amaretto biscuit, and a caramelised French lemon tart.
